San Francisco Row Housing
Completed as part of Cal Poly’s San Francisco Program. This project is a row housing development consisting 28 units located in San Francisco’s Mount Sutro neighborhood. At only 24 feet wide each unit utilizes an open plan to maximize flexibility of the space and layout for each resident. Private areas of each residence are screened off to allow privacy while public areas remain transparent. The hillside facade is composed of a simple operable glass curtain wall allowing views, light and fresh air into the units.
